As of 2007 King Jai Kronic has returned to the AWA (in NJ). In his first match back he had a shot at the AWA Web Television Championship held by William Wyeth. After a back and forth contest Wyeth stole the victory after using a chain wrapped around his fist and giving Kronic a gut shot. Wyeth scored the 1-2-3 and retained the title.

During AWA's next show Kronic impressed AWA officials enough to be granted a Heavyweight title shot in the Main Event against then Reigning Heavyweight Champion Manslaughter. With these two men comes a lot of history starting way back when they teamed in the Infernal Chapel. After a beating at the hands of the champion Kronic mounted a comeback but to no avail as Manslaughter hit his patented BlackHole Slam Backbreaker on Kronic and gained a decisive victory of the wildman.

Kronic rebounded with a victory at the next show with a win over Eric Alverado using his patented Super Beast Driver (Blue Thunder Driver).

Following his victory he lost a hard fought, extremely close match up to Tony Blaze.

Following that loss Kronic battled the Suplex Animal known as Brolly in a match that could have gone either way but in the end it was Brolly who scored the win. After the match Kronic and Brolly seemed to share a show of respect for one another.
